Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter. This role requires a strong foundation in various construction-related skills, including fabrication, assembly, and the use of both hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in diverse environments and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks.

Duties

Perform fabrication and assembly tasks as required for various projects. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete construction tasks. Engage in carpentry and joinery work, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Assist with roofing projects, demonstrating knowledge of safety protocols. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to support project requirements. Undertake construction painting duties, maintaining high standards of finish. Support plumbing activities, including installation and repairs. Participate in masonry tasks as needed, contributing to structural integrity. Apply electrical experience where applicable to assist with installations or repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction environment. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is essential. Strong skills in carpentry and joinery are highly desirable. Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety measures. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Experience in construction painting is an advantage. Basic plumbing knowledge is beneficial for assisting on relevant tasks. Understanding of masonry principles is a plus. Electrical experience will be considered an asset for this role.
