Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in using various tools and equipment. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial constructions, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square by using appropriate measuring instruments. Perform joinery tasks to high standars Assemble furniture and other wooden items according to specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and plumbers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Lift heavy materials as needed for various construction tasks.

Experience

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including joinery and roofing is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands. Knowledge of electrical systems related to carpentry projects is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
