We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a 2nd Fix carpentry Specialist. This role requires a strong background in various construction disciplines, including fabrication, assembly, and general building practices. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with both hand and power tools, demonstrating proficiency in carpentry and joinery. This position is essential for ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble components according to project specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Perform carpentry and joinery work to create structural elements and fixtures. Assist in roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and safety measures are followed. Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all stages of construction.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction environment. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to construction tasks. Strong skills in carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work are highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily responsibilities. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transportation to various job sites.
