Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and be adept at working with various materials and tools. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, roofs, and cabinets. Fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and blueprints. Assemble furniture and fixtures with precision. Perform joinery tasks to create strong connections between different components. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square to maintain structural integrity. Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed, ensuring longevity and functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry. Strong understanding of electrical systems as they relate to carpentry projects is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during construction tasks. Excellent joinery skills for creating durable connections between materials. Experience in roofing construction is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints accurately. Good problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Pay: 250.00-350.00 per day
