Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Carpenter

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires strong craftsmanship, precision, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Job Duties :

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, metal, or substitutes. Install frameworks, doors, floors, windows, trim, cabinets, and other fixtures. Repair and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fittings. Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes. Collaborate with contractors, designers, and other construction professionals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Skills, Education and experience:

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Good physical condition and stamina. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good physical condition and endurance
High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 31,500.00-33,500.00 per year
