Job Description
:
selects and measures appropriate wood and cuts, shapes and drills to specification using saws, planes, chisels and other power or hand tools;
aligns and fixes prepared wood pieces to make sofa frames.
checks accuracy of work
Preparing frames for corner sofas, 3 piece sofas, foot/rest stalls;
Liaising with clients to prepare sofas
Performing finishing on the sofas, chairs, foot/rest.
Preparing and finishing customised sofas for clients.
Ability to speak in English, Urdu and Punjabi to deal with our diverse clients;
Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails to assemble a sofas, sofa beds, chairs.
Skills Experience:
Previous experience of sofas.
Previous experience of preparing customised sofas.
Previous experience of 4 years of preparing customised sofas.
Ability to speak in English, Punjabi and Urdu
