Having become a well-established name in construction, we have increased our work flow and are ramping up our team of skilled tradespersons.

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Install structures and fixtures, such as doors, floors, and partitions Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials Maintain tools and workspaces Perform joinery tasks to create strong connections between different materials. Carry out masonry work as needed for various projects. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct repairs on existing structures, including painting and finishing touches. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials as required on-site.

Skills



Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Strong skills in painting, joinery, roofing, and masonry work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. A current driving licence

Desirable but not essential



Valid CSCS card Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous for integrated projects. Own vehicle & tools
