Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be able to work on various projects, from constructing frameworks to finishing touches. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications. Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Carry out painting duties as required for finishing projects. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to safety standards. Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks. Assist with masonry work when necessary, including bricklaying and stonework. Conduct electrical installations as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations. Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.

Skills

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry tasks. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations within the construction industry. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting tasks. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
