Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Perform carpentry and joinery work to create or repair frameworks, fixtures, and fittings.
Conduct roofing tasks including installation, repairs, and maintenance.
Assist with plumbing and masonry work as required on various projects.
Carry out electrical tasks where applicable, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move materials and equipment.
Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is highly desirable.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for construction tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
