Are you a skilled and ambitious site carpenter, looking to progress into a supervisory role? Look no further!

At Scope Property Services we specialise in commercial fit-out, refurbishment, heritage and special works, in and around the London area. Our expertise is mainly in light industrial premises, high-end residential developments, serviced offices, heritage properties and healthcare.

We are now recruiting a Carpenter/Working Foreman to take the lead on small/intermediate construction projects up to 100k. You will be responsible for managing all site activities to ensure project completion to time, budget and quality. Whilst you will still be working hands-on to complete the carpentry elements of a project, your duties will also include managing other trades, procurement, client liaison and full site safety compliance.

Previous supervisory experience is not required. Full training will be provided and upon joining, you will be expected to work towards the NVQ3 in Occupational Work Supervision and relevant CSCS Gold card.

Longer term career prospects include progressing into site management or project management, working on our larger projects up to 1.5m.

Candidate requirements:

2 years+ experience as site carpenter; NVQ level 2 Carpentry & Joinery (or above); GCSE English & Maths grade 4+ (or equivalent); good understanding of building processes; CSCS Skilled Worker card (blue); driving licence; fluent English speaker with good standard of written English; numerically competent; energetic, enthusiastic and physically fit.
Other trade skills would also be a distinct advantage.
