Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a fully qualified skilled Carpenter sub contractor to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing first and second fix carpentry items but also in assisting in removing walls and installing steel beams and posts into concrete footings. Kitchen fitting and other second fix carpentry must be to a very good standard.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans to understand project specifications
- Keeping the work environment clean and tidy
- Keeping in good communication at all times
-Notify management of any issues
- Installing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry items
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed

- Must have their own van and tools

Experience:
- Proven experience as a time served Carpenter minimum 8+ years experience preferred
- Able to carry out small amounts of other works such as brick laying. (Filling in above beams or blocking up windows).
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Experience with heavy lifting and working at heights
- Experience in working in residential homes
