We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Handyman/woman to join our team covering Essex & London. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential or commercial properties. Carry out painting tasks, ensuring surfaces are prepared and finished to a professional standard. Execute joinery work, such as building or repairing furniture and fittings. Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Handle heavy lifting for transporting materials or equipment. Fabricate and assemble components for repairs or installations. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance person services or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools safely is required. Familiarity with painting, plumbing, joinery, roofing, heavy lifting, fabrication, assembly, and basic electrical work is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. A valid driving licence and van is required for this role.
