Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of masonry and electrical work. The Joiner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including roofs, doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out joinery tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling components on-site. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and electricians, to ensure seamless integration of various construction elements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute projects accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous. Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently. Experience with electrical installations related to joinery work is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transportation of materials.
