Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Joiner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to fabricate, assemble, and install various structures and fixtures, within the Trailer Manufacturing Industry. This role also requires the ability to carry out Trailer conversions to produce Mobile Pods/Mini Caravans.

This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Joiner will work on a variety of projects, including roofing and masonry tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Conversion of Trailers into Mini Caravans/Mobile Pods Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials. Carry out painting and finishing work to enhance the appearance of completed projects. Install roofing components and ensure they are plumb and secure. Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure project completion meets deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by properly storing tools and materials. Conduct regular inspections of work completed to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter or joiner with a strong understanding of joinery techniques. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to construction work. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans effectively.
