Contract Candles and Diffusers, Colorlites, Lower Lodge Candles, CYC:D and THF Holdings Limited.

The role:

As a Carpenter you will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and wallboard.

Duties:

Perform high-quality construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures including framing, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture. Accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials utilising hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Expertly instal building frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes. Proficiently read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements. Ensure all carpentry work adheres to current building codes and standards. Plan and layout work with a focus on detail, precision, and efficiency. Apply professional finishing touches to woodwork, including sanding, staining, and varnishing. Conduct repairs or replacements of damaged woodwork, fixtures and fittings with precision. Perform thorough maintenance and restoration tasks on existing structures. Maintain client confidentiality with utmost professionalism at all times. Adhere strictly to Health and Safety Policy & legislation in all working practices. Support the company's mission statement and Environmental Management System, actively contributing to sustainability initiatives and suggesting improvements where appropriate. Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management from time to time.

Skills and experience required:

Certificate in Carpentry

Level 2 NVQ

Or equivalent experience

Attention to detail

Knowledge of building regulations

Safety protocols

Pay: 45,000.00 per year
