We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating expertise in fabrication and assembly. This role involves working with both hand and power tools to create and install wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout the process.

Duties

Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all measurements and specifications are met. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction projects. Carry out roofing tasks as required, ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary during the construction process. Engage in construction painting to finish surfaces to a high standard. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes. Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and practices. Experienced in joinery with a keen eye for detail. Competent in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and hammers. Skilled in operating power tools safely, including drills and saws. Familiarity with roofing techniques and materials. Capable of heavy lifting to assist with material handling on-site. Knowledgeable in construction painting methods for finishing work. Basic plumbing skills to support installation tasks as needed. Understanding of masonry principles for constructing durable structures. Electrical experience is advantageous for completing diverse projects.
