Overview

We are seeking a Carpenter / Bench Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery, carpentry, construction or manufacturing, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. While this experience is preferrable, full training will be provided and we encourage applications from those with transferable skills and willingness to learn. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing retail display structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in delivering our projects and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble retail display units including various materials and inputs. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction. Occasional site work may be required to install display units around the UK. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing displays as required. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is preferrable but not essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues with factory manager. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
