Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the capability to perform heavy lifting. The Joiner will contribute to projects involving roofs, fittings, and other essential aspects of construction.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, frameworks, and fittings according to specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly of larger components Execute joinery tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to integrate electrical components into joinery work Carry out painting and finishing tasks on completed projects as needed Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist in the installation of roofs and other structural elements

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously A valid driving licence may be required for travel between sites
