Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled carpenter/ Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of woodwork and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality structures and fittings.

Duties

Be comfortable and trustworthy working alone. Utilise hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials effectively. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and kitchen installations. Execute joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all work meets safety standards and specifications. Engage in heavy lifting as required for the transportation and installation of materials. Conduct construction painting as needed to finish projects to a high standard. Collaborate with other tradespeople on site, including masonry and electrical professionals, to ensure seamless project completion.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools relevant to joinery work. Experience in carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable but not essentia. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients.
