We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and related skills, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. The Joiner will work on diverse projects, contributing to the construction and finishing of buildings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture. Perform joinery tasks such as cutting, shaping, and joining materials using hand tools and power tools. Engage in painting and finishing tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Plumb various elements accurately to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Assist with heavy lifting during the transportation and installation of materials. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience with painting techniques is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred.
