Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter/Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing fire doors on-site and domestic dwellings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry and joinery to utilise their expertise within a dynamic construction setting. The position involves removing and installing new fire doors, timber sets and composite sets.

Responsibilities

removing existing door sets installing new fire door sets under BS8214:2016 guideline and manufacturer guidelines being health and safety aware being able to work alone to a high standard and as part of a team Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely to facilitate smooth workflow. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold health and safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion within deadlines. Conduct quality checks on own completed work to meet industry standards.

Requirements

Proven experience fire doors carpentry, or joinery. CSCS card own van own tools is a must Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices. Experience operating power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project tasks. Strong understanding of regulations or willing to learn. Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery. Physical fitness to work on-site for extended periods in various weather conditions. Pay: 180.00-250.00 per day
