Job Description

Self-Employed Carpenter Required - Home Annexe Build. We're looking for an experienced self-employed carpenter to undertake the full build of a timber SIPs home annexe, excluding plumbing and electrics.

Main duties:

Install floor panels, soleplates, SIPs walls, and roof panels Fit fascias, soffits, EPDM roof, and cladding Fit external doors, windows, and complete weatherproofing Install cold bridging insulations, VCL, plasterboard, and internal joinery (doors, skirtings, architraves) Fit kitchen units, carry out finishing, decoration, and snagging

Requirements:

Proven carpentry/joinery experience (SIPs preferred) Own tools, transport, and public liability insurance Ability to work independently and deliver quality finishes CSCS card preferred but not essential

Contract:

Self-employed basis - 200 per day - approx 4 - 5 weeks, starting mid November

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 5 weeks

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
