Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter/Joiner to join our team. The work is mainly split between West Drayton and Reading, the suitable candidate will live within an hour of these locations. We are a nationwide company and sometimes travel further afield will be needed. This role requires a hands-on approach to completing tasks efficiently and effectively while ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Tradesman will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Undertake carpentry projects including building frameworks, and furniture. Installation and Inspection of Fire Doors Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are stored correctly. Not all of these skills are necessary but proffered.

Qualifications

Proficient in the use of both power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. A valid driver's licence is essential.
