At AshDark carpentry and construction we pride ourselves on offering a high end building service covering Swansea Gower and Llanelli.

We supply and fit fine Italian kitchens through our sister company Ashdark Kitchens.

We are seeking a skilled carpenter / kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction techniques, demonstrating proficiency in both assembly and installation tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively with a range of tools and materials. The Fitter will be responsible for ensuring that all components are fitted accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and blueprints. Utilise hand tools and power tools for precise fitting tasks. Kitchen fitting experience . 3 years plus Perform carpentry and joinery work as required, ensuring high-quality finishes. Engage in roofing activities, including the installation of roofing materials. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to move materials and equipment safely. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to fitting tasks. Strong skills in carpentry, joinery, roofing, kitchen fitting are highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for site travel.
