Job Description

A very experienced first and second fix multi skilled carpenter required, with extremely high standards, initiative and drive, willing to work the hours required to see jobs through. (Must be self sufficient)

Must have a clean modern van

Must be willing to travel up to 70miles to jobs, if required (expenses covered)

Fulfilment of carpentry / building tasks on behalf of The Company relating to domestic garage refurbishment, conversion projects, and the building of garden rooms, working alone or with your own help, managing fully your individual jobs. You should have the ability to assess material quantities and order materials to site via our office, based on company templates and guidance. Individual jobs will typically span 5 to 15 days.

Full site management of your own individual job is required, with help and support from our office, you need to be able to plan for, and organize other trades to site eg (electricians / plumbers) and organize your time around them

Ability to carry out or supervise all elements of the job with the ability to fit windows and doors, with ease, mix sand and cement for basic remedial repairs, lay floors - (a basic knowledge of any of the other main trades is advantageous).

Must have a fully insured, clean, unwritten van.

Must have contractor trade liability insurance

Must be CIS
