Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson - Domestic Extensions

Job Type: Full-time (PAYE or CIS - dependent on experience)

Cubit Contracts is an award-winning building and construction company delivering high-quality domestic extensions and bespoke residential projects. With a strong pipeline of premium work secured throughout 2026, we are expanding our team and looking for a reliable, experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trade who takes pride in workmanship, leadership, and professionalism.

The Role

You will be working on high-end domestic extensions and renovation projects, carrying out:

1st and 2nd fix carpentry Structural carpentry (stud walls, roofs, floors) Kitchen fitting and joinery General multi-trade duties as required on extensions Supervising and coordinating other trades on site when required Leading by example to maintain site standards, quality, and programme Working closely with site management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven experience as a Carpenter within domestic extensions Strong multi-trade capability Experience managing people and small site teams Ability to coordinate trades and maintain productivity on site High standards of workmanship and attention to detail Excellent manners and strong customer-facing skills Reliable timekeeping and work ethic Full UK driving licence Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take responsibility
Desirable:

Experience on high-value residential projects Ability to read drawings and work independently Calm, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
