Job Description

We are currently looking for a multi-skilled carpenter to join our team. This role requires someone who is versatile and experienced in various trades, including carpentry, and general maintenance. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks and projects, both reactive and planned, in residential properties.

Your primary responsibilities will include installing windows and doors. Refurbishment of sash windows, Replacing timber sills. Maintaining equipment, painting and decorating. Glazing and finishing frames. You will also be expected to work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within the given timeframes.

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, with a solid understanding of various trades and their associated tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different situations are also essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills will be crucial, as you will be interacting with clients on a regular basis.

The majority of the work will be located in and around Devon; however, there may be occasions where travel outside of these areas is expected.

Required Skills and Experience:

- General building maintenance experience

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in reactive and small project maintenance

- Full UK driving license

- Own tools (essential)

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Good time and diary planning skills

- Ability to provide clear and concise reports to the operations department
