OVERVIEW:

• The main focus of this role is to handle cases related to investigations, enforcement work, fitness to practise matters and interim suspensions
• Responsibilities include making independent decisions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality of regulatory decision-making, supporting litigation where required, and working closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver shared objectives
• Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers, or FCILExs in England and Wales, or foreign qualified lawyers with experience in a similar role
• Experience delivering services directly to the public and an understanding of legal processes and/or litigation experience is essential
• Strong case management skills, including the ability to handle complex issues, work independently, and balance multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, with the ability to evaluate facts, assess risks, and consider constraints when making decisions.
