Cash & Banking Specialist

Job Description
A well-established and growing business is seeking a Cash & Banking Specialist to join its finance operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your contribution will be valued and your development supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily banking transactions including BACS, CHAPS, and international payments
- Bulk payment requests
- Liaise with internal departments and banking partners to resolve queries
- Assist with fraud prevention and manage disputes
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and post banking-related journals
- Ensure accurate transaction recording in the finance system
- Provide documentation for internal and external audits
The successful person will:
- Experience in finance or cash operations
- Familiarity with UK banking systems and payment platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset and good communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and online banking portals
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain internal controls
