The Cash Budget Team Leader will be essential to our service delivery, development and play a key role in making sure we provide efficient and effective support services across Adult Care Services and to people who use Cash Budgets.


The Team is a 'one stop shop' for everything about cash budgets at Rochdale Council. They are responsible for the provision of specialist advice, guidance & signposting, support planning as well as the payment, monitoring & auditing of Cash Budgets.


The Cash Budget Team Leader will work closely with the 2 Assistant Team Leaders who are responsible for the day to day, operational business as usual work of the team, enabling them to take a lead on development, change, contract monitoring and quality assurance.

You will have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively lead and develop people and teams You will be an effective multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service You will be motivated and forward thinking, who can demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm You will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of Cash Budgets for people with eligible Adult Social Care needs You will have project/change management experience and be able to lead and drive change You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with people who draw on care and support, colleagues and other stakeholders You will have excellent ICT skills and be able to use a range of packages including Word, Excel and Outlook

Leave Entitlement:

You will be offered a generous holiday allowance of 26 days per annum plus bank holidays. In addition, our employees annual leave entitlement will increase by an additional 5 days after five years' service.

We also offer a flexible work life balance scheme which allows you to accrue hours and take up to an additional 12 days off each year, without impacting on your annual leave entitlement.
