As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and promoting additional sales through upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Accurately process transactions using the till, ensuring correct handling of cash, credit, and debit payments. Maintain an organised checkout area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist customers with queries regarding products or services, providing knowledgeable recommendations. Employ upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in English; multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous. Strong basic maths skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain an orderly workspace. Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Time management skills to efficiently handle peak hours and busy periods. Experience in upselling products or services is preferred, enhancing overall sales performance. Pay: 2,035.00-11,569.02 per month
