Cashier - Organic Grocery & Produce Shop
Location:
Hackney, East LondonSalary:
25,000-30,000Role Overview
Enthusiastic cashier responsible for day-to-day shop duties: using the till, cash handling, card payments.
Key Responsibilities
Operate POS: process sales, refunds and assist with end-of-day cash-up Demonstrate good product knowledge (produce, herbs, meats, canned goods, beverages) Perform daily date-checks Rotate stock using FIFO; ensure all products are correctly labelled and priced
Required Experience & Skills
1-2 years' retail or grocery experience, ideally in organic or specialty food Confident till/POS operation and basic cash handling Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Reliable, proactive and able to follow direction independently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
