Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers. Prior experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts. Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting team members during busy periods. Uphold company standards for presentation, quality, and customer satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of

food safety

regulations and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers in a hospitality setting is preferred. Basic

maths

skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. Good

time management

skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to ensure positive customer interactions.
