Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining an organised checkout area.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the till. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintain an organised and tidy checkout area to enhance customer experience. Assist in merchandising products on the sales floor to attract customers. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Upsell products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply). Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently. Organisational skills to maintain a clean and orderly workspace. Experience in merchandising is advantageous, helping to create appealing displays that attract customers.
