Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused
Cashier
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling foreign exchange transactions, processing payments accurately, and providing excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Accurately handle cash transactions, including buying and selling foreign currencies.
Provide information on exchange rates and services.
Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory procedures.
Balance tills and prepare reports at the end of each shift.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and complete required documentation.
Support colleagues and contribute to smooth branch operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a cashier, retail, or banking role is preferred (but not essential).
Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Honest, reliable, and trustworthy with handling large sums of money.
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, if required.
