Temporary Cashier/Retail Assistant - Notcutts Peterborough Garden Centre

Part Time 20 hours - including working weekends on a rota basis with the rest of the team. An element of flexibility will also be required to work additional hours to meet business needs.

Salary meets NMW/NLW Pay Rates.

This is a temporary seasonal position until 24th December 2025

We are looking for an enthusiastic Temporary Seasonal Cashier within the Garden Centre, this will also include working as part of the indoor retail team on occasions when required , until 24th December.

As a Cashier you will be the last person our customers will meet and therefore it is important that you will provide an excellent customer service, giving our customers a positive lasting impression.

Our ideal candidate will;

Have previous experience operating a till preferably in a retail environment. Have excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of customer Have the experience and ability to cross sell products and our loyalty card. Be a naturally friendly and helpful person Be well presented, organised and punctual Have a positive 'can do' attitude Be flexible and adaptable to change Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own Have retail/customer service experience
