Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/waitress to join our vibrant team. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and assisting in food preparation as needed. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in billing. Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties when required, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and guest services will set you apart from other candidates. Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance the overall guest experience is an advantage.
