Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food presentation. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and courteously, taking care to meet dietary requirements when necessary. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout service. Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Skills

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
