This flexible role is perfect for practising artists, designers, media creatives or performers who want to share their skills, lead engaging workshops, and support students across Art & Design, Media or Performing Arts. Whether you're delivering an enrichment session, guiding students through a practical project, or stepping in for short-notice cover, you'll play a key part in shaping the next generation of creative talent.




This role is a casual role, and we are initially looking for two hours of support within Art & Design from January 2025 - June 2025. However there are opportunities to provide cover support in Art, Design, Performing Arts or Media.




What you'll do:



Deliver exciting, practical workshops in your creative specialism Provide short-notice cover to ensure continuity of teaching Inspire learners through hands-on activities, demonstrations and creative problem-solving Adapt sessions to support students of different abilities and backgrounds Maintain an engaging, inclusive and safe learning environment Give constructive feedback to help students build skills and confidence


What we're looking for:



Strong practical skills in at least one creative discipline (Art, Design, Media or Performing Arts) A passion for teaching, supporting and inspiring young creatives Great organisation, communication and classroom management A relevant creative qualification (and ideally a teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one) Flexibility, reliability and confidence delivering sessions at short notice Commitment to safeguarding and creating an inclusive learning space
