Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Assistant Cook to join our friendly team. You will be key in the cover of the kitchen, ensuring preparation and service of high-quality meals for our pupils and staff, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and complies with all health and safety regulations.

Working hours would be 9:30am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

The preparation, cooking, and serving of meals. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and dining area. Following food hygiene and health and safety standards. Assisting with stock control and storage.

What We're Looking For:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn. The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of food hygiene practices (training will be provided if required). Previous experience in a catering or similar role is desirable but not essential.

Pay: From 12.65 per hour
