Job Summary

We are recruiting for EXPERIENCED Bar Staff on a casual basis who will provide service as and when required mainly for events and big band nights

The successful candidates will have a minimum of 1yrs bar experience, be flexible to work weekends and be able to get home safely late at night!

Shifts will typically be from 6pm or 8pm until 2am

Candidates must be trustworthy, hardworking and reliable

Successful candidates will be added to a WhatsApp group and can pick up shifts as they are put into the chat

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Interact with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending is essential Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse clientele. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 11.44-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
