Job Description

Gomer Press is an established family owned business in rural Wales, working with many of the most prestigious publishers in the UK to produce beautiful books.
We have openings in our bindery for casual operatives to undertake manual tasks related to the final stages of book production, for example fitting book jackets.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given. The ability to work with care and attention on repetitive tasks is essential.

Working hours will be by mutual agreement week-by-week, and the role will be available until the end of November.

Working hours in the bindery are 7:45am - 3:45pm Monday to Friday up to the end of August, 7:45am - 4:15pm September to November and there is no requirement to work evenings or weekends. The workload does vary and it may be one day a week or three to four days a week, and we can be flexible with the hours to suit the right person.

This could suit a student looking for short-term work before heading back to university, someone who is already in part-time employment or looking for a short term job-share.
