We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Boatyard Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for boating and marine activities. As a Casual Boatyard Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our boatyard, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of boats, ensuring they are in excellent condition for customers. Help with the organisation of boat storage and inventory management. Engage with customers, providing information about services and holidays. Maintain a tidy and safe working environment within the boatyard. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries. Training customers the skills of boat handling. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role or within the marine industry is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within a fast-paced environment.
