If you have an interest in a catering career particularly bar work with Fife Council, why not join one of our many teams within Glenrothes.




We currently have casual vacancies to join our busy team of Commercial Caterers in Glenrothes. These posts are casual posts, working as and when required in Staff Restaurants or Leisure Centre Cafes.



Staff Restaurants are Monday to Friday Between 8:00am to 3:00pm





Leisure Centre Cafes are open 7 days a week between 8:30 am to 7:00pm





Weekend enhancements are paid when working on a Saturday or Sunday.






You will earn 13.18 per hour c

asual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked and

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

This work is about providing customer service, in a busy catering environment. Ensuring customers are catered for accordingly - this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any payments.




On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Person






Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential.




Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous.




You may be asked to work at short notice.




You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
