Grandstand Stoneleigh Events (GSE) is the venue manager for NAEC Stoneleigh. The venue hosts over 200 events a year. These range from large business to business events, large business to consumer events, the corporate conference market, outdoor events, as well as many special interest and participant events.

This role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career within the events catering industry. This role will include delivering exceptional food and customer service as well as supporting the operations whilst adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Help with basic food preparation tasks, including pot washing. Serve food to customers and clients. Operate the tills at public events. Adhere to workplace and food health and safety regulations. Provide friendly and enthusiastic customer service. Set up catering areas according to Catering Manager/ supervisor or Events Manager's guidance. Assist in cleaning and restocking all catering areas as needed. Load and unload food, tableware, and catering supplies onto and from catering vehicles.
REPORTING LINES

This role reports to the Catering Operations Manager and Catering Supervisor
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Have previous experience in food preparation preferred, but training will be given. 'Can do' positive attitude Good people & teamwork skills Willingness to learn
