We are seeking flexible and enthusiastic Casual Catering Hospitality Assistants to work alongside our full-time team members who are all very valued at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
As a casual member of staff, we are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and available to work occasional shifts which can include evenings and weekends. Your duties will range from serving meals and drinks, assisting with preparation, setting up, clearing tables and cleanliness. During term-time we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to staff and students in our refectory and our public cafe bar is open for audiences and visitors 7 days a week.
In our vacation periods, our events include VIP receptions, weddings, royal visits, fine-dining functions and conferences so if you enjoy providing exceptional customer service in an exciting fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
The College attracts the best creative talent from across the globe. As Wales' national conservatoire, we train actors, musicians, designers, technicians and arts managers from more than 30 countries.
We are committed to creating a workforce that is representative of society. Currently, people from ethnically diverse communities, those who self-identify as disabled and neurodiverse and transgender individuals are under-represented, so we are keen to hear from candidates from these under-represented groups.
If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently engaged by PSS Ltd), you will be engaged by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges. If you are an internal professional services candidate, from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, you will continue to be engaged by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
