Cardiff City Football Club is an established Club with a rich history, located in the heart of Cardiff.

The role

We are now looking to recruit to the role of Cleaner to assist in the preparation of all areas in and around the stadium to include Executive suites/Offices/Boxes and the Bowl of the stadium for match days and non-match days.

Role expectations

The successful applicant will be able to work effectively both in a team as well as on their own.

Reporting to the Cleaning Management Team, the cleaner will be expected:-

To ensure all function suites, private executive boxes, offices, corridors, lifts, foyers and stadium bowl (Which includes stadium terracing/seating are cleaned to the required standard and all areas are free from debris. To ensure all carpeted areas are vacuumed and stains removed as required and any defects are reported to the Cleaning Management team. To ensure that the cleanliness of the toilets is maintained and laid down procedures for cleaning washrooms to a high standard are adhered to at all times and there are adequate toilet tissue and soap available at all times. To be pro-active and diligent in identifying and reporting maintenance/cleaning issues relating to equipment and rooms in use and report any outstanding issues to the Cleaning Management team. To carry out any specific cleaning requests. To deep clean areas using wet floor electrical cleaning equipment (full training will be provided) as requested by the Cleaning Management team. To follow all Health and Safety/COSHH responsibilities to include storage and handling of all chemicals.
To maintaining high standards at all times.

To be able to work flexible hours where the role requires.

Essential:

A friendly, positive 'can do' and courteous attitude.

Strong team-working skills.

Desirable:

Prior experience of working in a cleaning role.
