Bridgend County Borough Council are currently looking for enthusiastic sports/activity assistant coaches to deliver sessions on behalf of the Prevention and Wellbeing team.
We are looking for energetic and passionate sports/activity assistant coaches who will support the delivery of a co-ordinated programme of activities across the service that are inclusive and engaging to participants and provide opportunities for progression.
The assistant coach will support the delivery of activities across the prevention and wellbeing service, working with a broad range of participants with differing needs in a variety of settings. The assistant coach will ensure that activities are operated in accordance with the recommended standards and work systems.
The position would require mobile working across a number of different locations within the Bridgend County Borough area.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
Weekends are a requirement of this position.
