Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. This position requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and has experience in delivery driving.

Duties

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver packages and goods to designated locations. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload items, including heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including addresses and times. Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse tasks when not on deliveries, including sorting and organising packages.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required; experience as a driver is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed for loading and unloading goods. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
