Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Creche Workers to join our team.

The ideal candidates MUST have an up to date Enhanced DBS check.

The candidates will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.

As a Casual Creche Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Manage routines, including nap times, and play sessions. Maintain cleanliness of the creche environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use. Drive initiatives that encourage social skills, teamwork, and positive behaviour among children. Document children's progress and report any concerns regarding their development or behaviour to senior staff members.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is mandatory. Ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs within the creche environment. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory. If you hold an Enhanced DBS check on the update service that would allow an immediate start.

Pay: From 12.30 per hour
